Snipaste is a lightweight and easy to use application which enables you to effortlessly capture screenshots, but will also let you pin the snapshot back onto your screen. Moreover, the program offers you the possibility to convert color info or text from your clipboard into a floating image window which can be flipped., rotated, zoomed, made translucent, or even made click-trough. The program is suitable for a broad range of professionals, including designers, programmers, etc.

Snipaste comes with an intuitive interface, but also includes a series of hidden functions which will help you increase your productivity. The application is able to automatically detect UI elements and comes with multiple features, such as a color picker, support for retina display, history playback, support for multiple monitors, pixel-level control, and much more.

Snipaste allows you to capture snapshots from various sources, including plain text, image files (JPG, PNG, TGA, BMP, TIFF, ICO, GIF), HTML code, color info text, and more. The program lets you easily annotate the screenshots and offers a rich collection of shapes and tools, including Ellipse, Arrow, Marker pen, Rectangle, Linestrip, Pencil, and Text. A set of advanced annotation utilities is included as well, such as Gaussian blur, Undo & redo, Mosaic and Eraser.

Snipaste is customizable. You have the possibility to personalize the theme color, tray icon, interface font, and much more.
