ShelXle is a complete and reliable piece of software that is designed to offer users with a Graphical User Interface for SHELXL, which is a crystal structure clarification program. It consists of a syntax highlighter and an editor to grant users the chance to process INS and RES files more simply.

In terms of user interface, the program shows a somewhat straightforward and simple to handle appearance, much of its capabilities being quite intuitive, yet relying completely on pre-existing SHELXL-associated input and output files.

Resorting to menus for tidily organizing its functions, as well as ribbon buttons for fast access, ShelXle enables users load the files they want to work with, with just a couple of clicks, and then start customizing them.
