Mapwel is a feature-rich and advanced application which enables you to effortlessly create maps for your GPS devices. The program also lets you compile your maps into GPS compatible file types and helps you upload your newly-created maps to your device. The application is able to support Garmin GPS devices.

Mapwel enables you to save your maps as IMG files. Moreover, the application lets you export your maps to KMZ and KML map formats. The utility also includes a wizard which lets you easily convert GIS files to GPS format.

Mapwel includes a powerful map compiler which will help you create your custom GPS maps in a fast and efficient manner. Moreover, the program, comes with the MapUpload utility which enables you to upload your files your your Garmin device.

Mapwel enables you to generate and edit vector map objects, georeference raster images, create custom patterns, download maps from Open Street Map, and more. The maps created with this program are mainly used in geology, electrical engineering, forestry, mineralogy, geodesy, aviation, hiking, land management, and many other activity fields.
