In the study of algorithms that take out text from color images a collection of files containing the accurate location of the text is required in order to bypass the tedious and inefficient visual verification of the results. The Ground Truth data will provide increased accuracy and will save precious time.

GT Text is a small application that lets you quickly and easily create high quality Ground Truthed sets from color text pictures. The application provides increased accuracy, working at a pixel detection level and making possible to organize certain areas to create the glyph. The application can also use straight editing to obtain the choice.
