Exact Audio Copy uses a powerful technology which is able to read Audio CDs almost perfectly.The program will announce you if there are exist any errors that can't be corrected and will show you on which time position they occurred, allowing you to easily control them using your media player.

Exact Audio Copy uses multi-reading with verify and Accurate Rip technologies to check the copied tracks for distortions. This saves you from wasting time by listening each extracted track in part for discovering errors and distortions.

Exact Audio Copy also supports multisession discs and is able to automatically rename MP3 files according to their ID3 tags. The program also provides CD-Text support and local CDDB support.

Exact Audio Copy also supports external WMA, flac, MP3, and OggVorbis encoders for auto-compression right after the extraction process. The program also uses LAME DLL as an ACM Codec for performing on-the-fly MP3 compression.
