DTK LPR SDK (License Plate discovery) is a program development kit designed for program developers who wants to embed vehicle license plate identification into their programs. The program finds license plates numbers from still pictures and video stream.
DTK LPR SDK is a base core constituent for automated system solutions handling with recognition and future processing of vehicle number plates.

DTK LPR engine have two distinct types:
- Still picture processing engine. Process single pictures, from files (BMP, JPG, PNG), from memory bitmap or buffer in another formats (RGB and YUV).
- Video stream handling engine. The engine developed to process the file in real time with up to 1280x960 at 25 fps. Video processing works in more threads to attain the best performance and qualitative output.
