Barcode Reader SDK is a powerful and exact developer library that is capable of recognizing 1-d and 2-D barcodes from bitmaps and digital images.

The SDK (Software Developer Kit) allows you to add barcode reading and recognition functionality to your Windows apps, Web services, document processing systems and embedded systems (for smartphones, Pocket PC, or devices with Windows CE). The application supports the following image formats: TIF, JPG, multipage TIF, BMP, PNG and PDF (Portable Document Format). The program integrates an unique and powerful barcode recognition algorithm that is capable to search your images for barcodes, regardless of their position and orientation.

Barcode Reader will display the number of found barcodes. For each barcode the application will show the barcode type and string, its orientation and position, and the page number (for multipage TIFF file format).

The program supports a wide range of 1-D barcodes, including EAN 8, EAN 13, Code 11, Code 39, UCC 128, Code 93, Code 128, and many more.

Besides the 1-D barcodes, the application also supports 2-D barcodes, such as Data Matrix, QR Code, PDF417 (Standard and Compact), and Micro QR Code.

Postal barcodes (RM4SCC, AustraliaPost, PostNet, Planet, and IntelligentMail) are also supported.

The SDK is compatible with several popular programming interfaces, including JAVA, .NET (version 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0), COM, ActiveX, and DLL.
