Yawcam (Yet Another Webcam Software) permits you to stream a live broadcast from the webcam or DV camera. Additionally to streaming video, the application can also save taken snapshots to a local file, upload them to a remote FTP server or use them via the integrated web server. Furthermore, a motion discovery feature permits you to directly start taking snapshots or perform other tasks whenever the application discovers any motion within the monitored area.
Other options include timestamps, optional text overlays, motion detection mode, password protection, a built-in scheduling engine, image-to-movie conversion and more. Yawcam can optionally functions as Windows service.
