SynthFont is a tool for playing and editing midi files using numerous sound source documents like GigaSampler files, SoundFonts, SFZ files and more. VST tools can also be used alternatively to a sound source documents. A midi file is distinct from - for instance - a MP3 songs in that the file does not include any audio data. The file is a suite of notes and guidance for how to play them. SynthFont mixes this information with the audio data in a SoundFont to create ("render") an audio variant of the song.
The interface might seem a little vast to new users, since it comes equipped with a lot of functions and options, so you might have to take some time to identify each of them so as to get the most out of your songs.
You can begin by starting an existing MIDI or arrangement document, such as MIDI, MID, RMI, KAR, SFARR and S2ARR.
If you prefer to make a fresh project from scratch, you first need to designate the primary number of tempo tracks you wish to add, then select the MIDI application you prefer.
- Powerful playback utility for MIDI files.
- Handy editing functions.
- Beginners may have some problems adapting to the program's complex interface.
