Stella is a multi-platform Atari 2600 VCS emulator tool released with the (GPL) GNU General Public License. Stella was originally designed for Linux by Bradford W. Mott, and is actually administrated by Stephen Anthony. Since the original release various users have joined the development team to develop Stella for other operating systems such as AmigaOS, AcornOS, Linux, FreeBSD, DOS, IRIX, Unix, OS/2, MacOS, and Microsoft Windows. The development team is working hard to improve the emulator.
