Rapid Environment Editor (also known as RapidEE) is an application that will allow you to edit environment variables. RapidEE provides an intuitive and easy-to-use Graphical User Interface and it represents a decent alternative to the small Windows edit box.

Rapid Environment Editor can run on Microsoft Windows XP, 2003, Vista, Server 2008, 7, 8 and 8.1. Please note that the current version does not support Windows 95, 98, 2000, Me and Windows NT. For these operating systems you will have to install an older version.

Rapid Environment Editor is able to show environment variables and values under the form of an editable tree and will check for invalid parameters and filenames automatically.

Rapid Environment Editor provides a multilingual interface, being translated into various languages, such as:Chinese, Dutch, Swedish, English, Russian, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Finnish, Norwegian, Romanian, Hungarian, Turkish, French, Polish, German, Slovak, Greek, Spanish, Korean, Croatian, Danish, Indonesian, Abkhazian, Italian, Latvian, etc.

RapidEE also provides a variable inspector tool, which will display various information about environment variables like type, name, value, etc. This tool is able to accept some command line parameters, too.

Rapid Environment Editor has and automated Silent installation mode, but can also be run in Portable mode, without installation being needed.

Using RapidEE's File Explorer feature, you won't be needing to type long path names, the software allowing to rapidly find and choose the desired path.

Rapid Environment Editor runs on MS Windows 2000/2003, Me, XP, Vista, Seven, Windows 8 and 8.1.
