Determine the Image size and resolution
Pictures are displayed in pixels, instead of centimeter. Photos for printing are commonly shown in inch or centimeter. The resolution plays an important role, too. Printing data requires a resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch), photos for monitors only require a resolution of 72 dpi. PicShrink displays the size of the photo and resolution so you can customize the optimal balance among print data and internet data.

In preview form PicShrink compares initial and new picture. Settings in size and quality of a photo are displayed in real time.
