NAPS2 is a lightweight yet efficient application that will let you easily scan your documents. The application supports both TWAIN and WIA scanners and lets you organize your scanned documents as you want, allowing you to save them in a wide range of file formats, including TIFF, JPEG, PDF, PNG, and many other. The application requires the MS .NET Framework v4 or newer.

NAPS2 lets you scan your files easily using your chosen settings and allows you to create and configure several profiles for various devices. When the scanning process is completed, you can save the scanned document, print it or send it via e-mail with just a few mouse clicks.

The application lets you choose the driver that will work best with your scanner, and also lets you adjust various parameters, such as the page size, DPI (Dots per Inch), and bit depth. You can scan your documents from an automatic document feeder or from a glass flatbed. Duplex support is included.

NAPS2 lets you adjust your pages to suit your wishes, allowing you to crop, rotate or rearrange them. You can even interleave duplexed pages, or change their contrast and brightness. The application also lets you perform search tasks in your text documents by using OCR (Optical Character Recognition). This feature supports more than 60 languages.

NAPS2 also offers a series of tools for advanced users and businesses, including an optional CLI (command-line interface) for scripting and automation, application-level and MSI configuration for GPO deployment, or a portable archive which doesn't require installation.

NAPS2 is 100% free to download and use for both home and corporate users. the application is available in more than 20 different languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Danish, Polish, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian, Turkish, Hungarian, Croatian, Swedish, Czech, Albanian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Hebrew.
