Muso is a Microsoft Windows software, which acts as both a centralized data repository for your music collection, and an instinctive graphical UI to enable you to browse your albums, filter them, tag them, and sort them in numerous flexible methods. Muso offers an alternative front end to your music player and enables you to experience a more essential interaction with your music collection.

Muso is not a playlist manager or a music player. There are many of these available on the market, with nice features like wireless streaming to your hi-fi, graphic equalizers, bit-perfect output, graphic equalizers, stunning visualisers, x and a myriad of plugins. Currently the next players are compatible:

- Logitech Squeezebox devices - this is muso's favorite solution for streaming music to your hi-fi.
- Winamp - Winamp is muso's favorite solution when you want to play your music straight on your computer.
- iTunes - iTunes will be your music player but muso will take on like a browser and like your music database. You can import your actual database from iTunes as a starting post for muso.
- Foobar2000 - beta test performance only.
