MaxIm DL is a comprehensive collection of powerful tools for image processing, acquisition and analysis tasks. The software allows you to analyze complex imagery and lets you recreate visual representations of a wide variety of objects.

MaxIm DL comes with a practical and clutter-free interface which offers you fast access to all the included features and tools. The program comes with support for multiple RAW image formats and enables you to process photos shot with a broad range of digital cameras, such as Canon, Kodak, FujiFilm, Minolta, Sony, Olympus, or Nikon. The program also offers support for several scientific data formats, including SBIG, FITS, and PC-Lynxx images.

MaxIm DL integrates a set of powerful and professional features for complex image processing, analysis and filtering. You can easily adjust the viewing options by using the provided commands. Moreover, the program offers FFT, photometry and PinPoint Astrometry capabilities. A set of additional instruments is available, including image alignment, image calibration, dead or stuck pixel removal, and many other filters.

MaxIm DL offers fully observatory integration, allowing you to easily control all your astronomical equipment directly from within the program. The program will integrate your filter wheels, digital camera, focusers, autoguider, telescope mount, camera rotator, remote switches, observatory webcam, dome, and weather station. The software is fully compliant with the ASCOM (AStronomy Common Object Model) standard.
