The King of Fighters '99 is an exciting and action packed head-to-head fighting game which was released in 1999 and offers support fro a vast array of gaming platforms, such as NeoGeo, Arcade, Dreamcast, PlayStation, MS Windows, Wii Virtual Console, and many others. The game offers a multiplayer mode and can be played by maximum two players simultaneously on the same machine. This installment of the game comes with an increased number of characters for each team. Unlike previous versions of the game, now each team has four members, instead of three. There are seven teams, each having four members. There are also 4 Team Edit characters and a boss.
