K-Meleon is a free to use web browser based on the same Gecko engine used by Mozilla Firefox. It offers a fast and safe browsing practice, and it should for the most part to be used on older PC systems.
The user interface is very simplistic. K-Meleon is compatible with tabbed browsing, as well as various languages. It is also fully customizable when it comes to its toolbar buttons, menus, accelerators, macros, and others, but you need to edit their configuration files (this would be complicated to accomplish by new users). You can also customize the skin (there are 3 options in total).
Additionally, you can disable or enable K-Meleon plugins, and these contain bitmapped menus (displays icons in menus), IE favorites, Netscape bookmarks, mouse gestures, full screen, history, session saver, Opera hotlist, and update checker.
In addition, you can translate the contents of an entire page by using Google Translate or Babel Fish Translation, but you can see the Error Console (errors, messages and warnings).
