JxBrowser is a comprehensive software tool which will enable you to integrate a web browsing component into your Java applications in order to show modern web sites and web pages that were built using Flash, Silverlight, CSS3, JavaScript or HTML5. This tool will also open and render all pages in separate Chromium processes.

Due to its Chromium-based web browsing engine, JxBrowser is able to accurately display web pages which will look exactly like in Google Chrome, supporting all the modern web standards like JvaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. It is also capable of displaying Microsoft Silverlight and Adobe Flash related content, if you have the Silverlight and Flash plugins installed on your machine.

JxBrowser allows you to use proxy for each browser instance, supporting a wide range of configurations: manual proxy configuration (HTTP, FTP, HTTPS protocols), auto detect proxy, proxy auto configuration files, or direct proxy. This utility is also capable of registering new JavaScript functions and relate them with various Java methods. This will allow you to establish a bi-directional bridge between Java and JavaScript. You can also use this tool in applications deployed through Java Applet or Java Web Start.

JxBrowser packs the ContextMenuHandler feature, which will empower you to handle various situations when context menu should be displayed. This feature allows you to create your own Swing context menus, using important data provided by the ContextMenuParams function, such as HTML element media type, link URL, link text, selection text, context menu location, and more.

JxBrowser requires Java JDK 1.5 (or higher), and can be installed on workstations powered by Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Seven, Windows 8 and 8.1 operating systems. It supports both 32-bit and 64-bit system architectures.
