InboxRULES for Outlook ("InboxRULES CE") is an and easy to use and very useful add-in for Microsoft Outlook for processing outgoing and incoming messages.
The message is processed when it comes to Microsoft Outlook or after it is sent. If the message suits designated restrictions (boolean expression support) InboxRULES CE calls the actions.
The other option is to trigger rules manually on all messages in a particular folder. You just pick what rules should be used and in which folder they should be used. The rules can be selected from all ones that are already decided in InboxRULES.
InboxRULES for Outlook is a client side engine which needs Microsoft Outlook to run to process messages.
Rule is a suite of conditions and actions which depicts when message should be processed and what should be done with the message.
You can make two kinds of rules:
- outgoing; messages are processed after they are sent from Microsoft Outlook
- incoming; messages are processed when they arrive to Microsoft Outlook
