Image for Windows is an efficient and reliable software that will let you backup and restore your entire hard drive, including data, operating systems and installed applications. The program lets you save the backup directly to internal network drives, to external FireWire and USB storage, or onto CD, DVD, or BD media.

The application provides a simple MakeDisk wizard that will help you create a recovery boot disk. The recovery disk will help you restore your data and operating system at its previous state. The software uses the powerful technology delivered by Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) or PHYLock, a software component that comes with the Image for Windows package. These two utilities will let you work on your computer while the backup is locked to a point-in-time. The software is capable of creating backup for any partition, including encrypted partitions, or the partitions of DOS / Linux.

Image for Windows will produce a TeraByte drive image file which is compatible with all TeraByte Unlimited disk imaging solution that have the same major version number, allowing you to restore your drive and system using your product of choice. The program is also compatible with Windows Server and SBS versions.
