FreePanorama is a free and easy to use application which enables you to open and view panorama files. The program is open-source and allows you to easily create .pan files. The .pan format is based on uncompressed TIFF and compressed ZIP files. If you want to generate .pan files, the program offers 6 distinct TIFF image files:
* d.tif - Down image
* b.tif - Back image
* l.tif - Left image
* f.tif - Front image
* u.tif - Up image
* r.tif - Right image
In order to complete the process you will have to compress these image files into a ZIP archive without usng compression (just select the option "Store").
