Folder Axe is a free and lightweight application which enables you to easily and quickly split your folders into several smaller ones. The utility allows you to slit folders by amount, by file type, by name, by size, by date, by file group, and more. Files in sub-folders can be included, as well.
Folder Axe will compress the resulted files into ZIP archives. You can also apply 256-biot encryption to better protect them. The program allows you to process any folders, regardless of their size. The last splitting can be easily undone with a single mouse click. the program offers three modes: Automatic, Semi-Automatic, and Manual.
