FastStone MaxView is a lightweight, fast and reliable image viewer which is able to support all the popular image formats. The program comes with a clean and intuitive interface which enables you to easily view your images in various ways. Images contained by password protected RAR and ZIP archives can be viewed as well. By using this tool, you will be able to quickly view, resize, annotate, rotate, crop and print your images.

FastStone MaxView is a tool which offers a vast array of features and lots of zooming options. The program allows you to clearly view all the image details with only a single mouse click. Moreover, the application lets you access and view detailed image metadata, including EXIF information.

FastStone MaxView lets you create great looking slideshows using your images. The program includes more than 150 transitional effects and allows you to add background music to your slideshows. You can also set an image as your desktop background directly from within the program. A vast array of options which will help you personalize the application is also available.

FastStone MaxView comes with support for touch screen devices. The application allows you to open and vieew a wide range of image formats, including JPEG2000, BMP, PCX, WMF, CUR, TGA, JPEG,GIF, PNG, TIFF, ICO, and many others. Furtehrmore, the program supports RAW image formats, such as CR2, PEF, MRW, DNG, CRW, NEF, RAF and ORF. Images can be also acquired directly from scanner or camera. Support for AES encryption (128-bit and 256-bit) is included.
