FastStone Capture is a lightweight and reliable screen capture tool that provides a comprehensive set of useful and powerful features. By using this small tool you will be able to easily capture and annotate all you see on your desktop screen, such as menus, full screen, scrolling windows and web pages, windows, objects, freehand / rectangular / fixed regions, and many more.

In addition, the program lets you record the totality of the screen actions, including mouse movements and clicks, onscreen changes, speech from microphone, etc. into remarkably compressed videos. The captured items can be sent to a file, editor, printer, clipboard, Word / PowerPoint document, email, or can be uploaded directly to your website.

FastStone Capture includes a series of editing tools and functions, such as cropping, sharpening, annotating, resizing, watermarking, applying edge effects and many more. Additional features like automatically generated filenames, support for a wide array of external editors, image scanning capabilities, screen crosshair, screen magnifier, and a screen ruler are included as well.

The application allows you to save your images in a wide range of formats, including JPEG, PCX, TGA, TIFF, BMP, GIF, PNG and PDF. The integrated recorder will compress and save screen captures as WMV (Windows Media Video) files.
