EMCO Network Software Scanner 2.0.6

EMCO Network Software Scanner is developed to do basic software audit tasks in local networks. You can use it to extract data about installed software from computer located in Microsoft Windows domains and workgroups. All tasks with network computers are done remotely and invisible for end users. No client installation or special configuration are needed to collect program inventory data remotely from network computers.

How does the program audit process work? You should determine the group of network computers to be scanned or let the program scan all available computers in the network. Also, you have to designate the credentials with an administrative access to the remote computers.

What are the essential benefits of the program? It doesn't use WMI to gather software inventory data, hence it can be used in networks where WMI is disabled. Additionally, the program is developed to work in large scale networks including a lot of computers.
