Dataedo is a portable and comprehensive documentation system, which is able ot support a broad range of databases, such as MariaDB, MS SQL, Oracle, Amazon Aurora, SQL Server, MySQL, and many more.The program will allow you to create a detailed description of all the included items, offering each user the possibility to quickly understand the aim of the objects and the interactions between them.

Dataedo also comes with multiple specimens of documentation repositories, enabling you to get accustomed to the environment in a simpler manner. You are also allowed to add new documentation to repositories.

Dataedo will display all the elements contained in a database in a tree structure, allowing you to better organize your tasks. In addition, the application will log views, tables, functions and procedures. Moreover, you have the possibility to generate diagrams and document dependencies. The database keys, relationships, table columns and triggers can be also previewed. You can add a detailed description for any of these objects.

Dataedo lets you update your documentation repository whenever you need just by re-importing your database schema. The existing descriptions will not be altered even if your database receives new data and new tables. The integrated wizards will help you easily add new documentation to a single repository. Certain sections can be removed, as well.

Dataedo offers you the possibility to export data to various formats, such as HTML, PDF, XLS, or XLSX. By doing this, you will be able to easily share your files with others. You can also print them on paper. In addition, you will be able to select the modules that will be contained in your report. The export command can be saved to accelerate future actions.

The resulted documentation comes with a clickable table of contents, has an appealing design, contains a legend and offers detailed descriptions for all your database items.
