ColorZilla is an extension for Firefox, that will help graphic designed and web developers perform both advanced and basic color tasks. The utility lets you get color reading in any area of your web browser, adjust the color and paste it into other applications. The program lets you inspect web pages and analyze a palette of their colors. The integrated palette browser enables you to choose colors from several pre-defined color sets. You can save your frequently used colors in custom palettes, as well. Complex CSS gradients can be easily created with this tool.

ColorZilla includes a series of tools that will help you with your work, such as Color Picker, Eyedropper, Palette Viewer, Zoom, Palette Editor, DOM Color Analyzer, Page Pan, and many more. The program lets you measure the distance between two points and is able to handle colors by their Hue/Saturation/Value or Red/Green/Blue components.
