Cisco CDP Monitor 3.32

First of all, Cisco CDP Monitor is a CDP Client for Windows host. It is capable to use the CDP (Cisco Discovery Protocol) to send host data to connecting Cisco devices .

CDP (Cisco Discovery Protocol) is a confidential Cisco protocol and only used in Cisco's devices such as Catalyst switch, Cisco router, IP Phone, and so on.

With Cisco CDP Monitor, users are able to send the data (CPU models and numbers, host brand, login data and the Windows variant, memory information, service pack version, disk information, the network adapter brand, IP address) of Windows host to the linking Cisco device, and users could obtain and display the data of the connecting Cisco devices, such as device models, device names, connecting port, IOS version, administrative ip address, VTP Domain, and more. With these information, one could simply learn the total topology of entire network and do troubleshooting.
