SuperEdi is a reliable and comprehensive text editor which offers an integrated FTP client and syntax coloring. The included directory tree will help you quickly locate your files without having to open the Windows Explorer. Moreover, the program provides context sensitive information which can be found by keywords in Windows help files.

SuperEdi can be extended by using text clips, executable programs and automation scripts. The program comes with support for UTF-16, UTF-8 and many other encodings. Moreover, the application includes a rich set of unique tools and features, such as HTML preview, Find and Replace, HTML document creation, clip library with support for macros, document tabs, bookmarks, fast navigation in large documents, block editing and selection, console output window, user-defined utilities, FTP download and upload, and many others.

SuperEdi comes with several pre-configured color schemes for avrious languages, such as CSS, HTML, Perl, JavaScript, and many others. The application also features a scripting interface for VBScript, JScript, HTML, and PerlScript. You can use TextPipe filters for advanced text processing. In addition, newline conversion for DOS, Unix and Macintosh files is included.

SuperEdi is able to open files from various sources, such as UNC paths, hard drive, clipboard, URLs, ZIP archives, and more. The program is available in several languages, including Portuguese, Greek, Spanish, English, Dutch, Chinese, and German.
