Permission Analyzer is a software utility which will report all the NTFS permissions in your file system along with user information form Active Directory. The program will store all the information in a local database, allowing you to easily retrieve it in order to view the permissions per user or per group. Permissions for entire groups can be easily monitored and the application will notify you each time an undesired permission is detected in your network.

Permission Analyzer enables you to configure the LDAP Organizational Units and directories to scan. You can schedule automatic scanning tasks, or you can run a manual scan whenever you want. The program is also able to store the data in an external database, allowing multiple computer to have access to the same data source. You can easily access the stored information by conducting quick targeted search queries instead of scanning the entire network each time you apply a new filter. Filters can be added for certain members, to all group members, permissions, LDAP OU, or folders.

Permission Analyzer comes with a graphical interface which offers a comprehensive summary of all the discovered server permissions, allowing you to keep track of all your network activity. The program also offers detailed statistics about all the permissions found in the network.
