Active DJ Studio is an ActiveX component that enables you to implement sound mixing and playback functions into your software products. The application is compatible with a wide variety of environments and offers integration with the BASS library and DirectShow codecs, being able to decode a wide variety of popular audio formats.

Active DJ Studio is able to load multiple sounds simultaneously on several virtual decks. A console with multiple decks playing different sounds can be easily created. Each deck can have separate tempo, volume, pitch, playback rate and equalizer settings. Several visual feedback components are included in each deck, such as spectrum analyzer, waveform, VU-meter, and oscilloscope.

Active DJ Studio comes with a rich set of features, allowing you to easily handle your sounds. The utility offers support for a broad range of audio formats, including AAC, M4A, AAC+, MP4, PCM, AC3, AIFF, MOD, APE, PVF, MP3, FLAC, MP2, ALAC, AU, VOC, SVX, MP1, Mosepack, Speex, OGG, W64, NIST, WAV, CAF, OPUS, WavPack, PAF, WMA, IRCAM, WMV, and many others.

Active DJ Studio includes several sound effects that can be applied to your audio files, such as volume sliding, equalizer, volume control, pre-amplifier, automatic fader, pitch support, tempo, playback rate, normalize, and more. Custom VST, DSP and EAX effects are supported, as well.
