When you download Microsoft Windows from the Microsoft Store, you have 2 options: You can download a set of compressed files, or you can download an ISO file. An ISO file blends all the Microsoft Windows installation files into an unique uncompressed file.
If you select to download an ISO file so you can make a bootable file from a DVD and USB drive, copy the Microsoft Windows ISO file onto your disk and then start the Microsoft Windows USB/DVD Download Tool. Then just install Windows onto your PC straight from your USB or DVD drive.
When you are downloading the ISO file, you must copy it onto a USB or DVD. When you are prepared to install Microsoft Windows, add the USB drive or DVD with the ISO file on it and then start Setup.exe from the main folder on the drive.
This grants you to install the system onto your computer without having to first run an operating system. If you customize the boot order of drives in your PC's BIOS, you can start the Windows installation from your USB drive or DVD when you turn on your PC.
