Also empty tickets can be generated inside Outlook.
HelpDesk OSP includes three important parts:
- Add-in for Outlook, installed on each helpdesk worker’s client computer or on a server placed Outlook for use with OWA. No installation on the SharePoint site. Once installed in Outlook, HelpDesk OSP is compatible with all profiles, for example with an Office 365 Outlook account. FAQ
- SharePoint Lists. HelpDesk OSP is compatible with all list templates offered by Microsoft for SharePoint, and they can be customized to fit the organization's needs.
- Excel report for performance examination.
Tickets can be generated:
- Manually from a selected e-mail, task or appointment .
- Manually when a problem is reported in another way. Sender data can be taken from the Outlook contacts or from the Global Address list.
- Automatically from all e-mails in a designated folder.
