This calculator is following the classical path when uncertainty of f(x) computation is estimated by the formula max|(derivative(f))|*|x*uncertainty(x)|, where highest of function derivative is treated on interval [x-uncertainty(x), x+uncertainty(x)]. So sin(2*pi)=0+-1E-45 and sin(2*1E20*pi)=0+-1E-25. So, the result’s precision degrades with growth of argument, but such path grants to keep all trigonometry facts like sin (even number*pi+x)=sin(x). Calculators with multi precision enables to compute sin of big argument, like 1E40, with any accuracy, but cannot compute sin (1E40*pi) since they don’t have pi.
