Starting with AAC formatted files, or any other audio file compatible with iTunes, the user can blend numerous input files into an individual audiobook file with chapter marks. Non-AAC files are directly transformed using iTunes.
Chapters can be modified, added, or deleted as needed for the combined audiobook. Chapters can be generated directly at the start of every input file and they can also be added at regular breaks specified by the user. If a particular file with existing chapters is picked , the user can then add to, delete remove or modify the existing chapters. Chapter pictures can also be particularized for the chapters and they will be displayed during playback on QuickTime, iTunes and on selected iPods.
The user can designate fourteen metadata or information tags (e.g. Title, Album, Artist, Composer and Comment tags) as well as the cover artwork for the combined audiobook.
A virtual copy of the audiobook is generated to enable the user to test the adjustments and to be capable to listen to the audiobook prior to creating the combined audiobook. The user can then add a particular at specific time or customize an existing chapter in the audiobook based on the time position of the player during playback.
Project files including all input file, metadata and chapter settings can be saved and opened to enable for later editing. Extra tools are offered to import and export metadata, chapters and artwork.
