Canon PIXMA iP2500 Printer Driver 3.2.1

Multifunctional machines may be the flavor of the year, but for some users a simple inkjet printer makes more sense, economically and in terms of space.

Continuing with Canon's Japanese coating box design, the Pixma IP 2500 is cased in a high-gloss, black plastic with silver flashes on its front vertical border. If you lift the back half of its top cover up and it creates a paper support for delivering plain or photo paper. Because there is no output paper tray in front of the printer this lands straight on the desk so you will have to keep your desk clear.

The only controls available are form-feed and power buttons, both with essential indicator LEDs. At the back is a single socket for a mains connector – no external power blocks here – and a USB 2.0 socket at the side is the only data connection port available.

The entire front and top cover hinges up to show a simple design internally, with holders for 2 print cartridges.
